Well secluded and within walking distance of Great Malvern’s town centre, this character cottage with an eclectic style is the perfect base to explore the breathtaking countryside of Worcestershire.

Step inside and enjoy a friendly welcome, the hallway is the perfect place to leave coats and boots after a day exploring the Malvern Hills and leads into the kitchen, well-equipped with an eclectic style offering a gas oven and hob and fridge/freezer. A small dining table and chairs creating the ideal space for a catch-up whilst keeping the chef company. Step into the dining room which is a more formal room with table and chairs, just perfect for eight with a wood burner to help set the mood. A lounge is situated off the dining room with cosy sofas brimming with colourful cushions and throws along with an open fire for chilly evenings and a TV perfect for watching your favourite programme. There is also a bathroom on this floor with a shower over the bath and WC. At the far end of the property there is a separate access to a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, which is shared with the owners.

When it’s time to say goodnight climb the stairs to the first floor, where you will find three bedrooms, a king-size with ornate wood panelling and garden views, a double room with garden views and a double within the eaves overlooking the gardens. There is a shower room with shower and WC on this floor. Across the garden is a detached annex with a green roof, this offers a king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into a twin on request) and en-suite shower and WC. Please note that there are steps between each bedroom that may cause concern for elderly guests and those with limited mobility.

Stepping outside into the walled gardens that surround the cottage, the Hot tub that can be used all year round undercover, children under 5 are not to use the hot tub as it is not thermostat controlled. There is an open fronted summer house, garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. There is off-road parking for two cars.

“The cottage was full of character and obviously very old. The pretty gardens were secluded even though the property is very near the main road. Bus stop just across the road, and the shops were all within walking distance. Ideal spot to stay for discovering the Malvern’s.”
